Hi Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Not sure where to ask this.

I have just inherited a fairly large drive and tape library from a very disorganized co worker. I need to log them into a Mac computer and organize the library.

Any suggestions on Mac based bar code scanners / software to help facilitate this? Someone recommended Intelliscanner, any thoughts on this?

    Thanks!

Any hand-held USB scanner outputs the standard ASCII values when it scans tape bar codes. Thus you should be able to use whatever you find cheaply or conveniently.

To use it, just put click your cursor into whatever field you want the data to appear, point the scanner and pull the trigger. It should work that easily.
