    Hey guys,
It’s been a while since I’ve done broadcast and I have a show about to go (at least) nationwide on RFD-TV.
I used to use a countdown/slate that (I believe) Spot made but can’t find it. Are there any templates around that you guys know of …as well as a 1 khz tone?
And is -12 db still the standard for tone? (I really hate to ask the station)

    Thanks very much,
    Randy

If those questions aren’t dumb enough I have another:
They gave me a hard copy “general information” sheet that wants the tape log to include ins and outs for each segment.
Since this will be delivered on mini-DV (I used to submit on DVD) I’m guessing those in/out times are going to be including the time it takes to make the bar tone slate etc.
IOW the show is to be 4 segments (approximately 00:06:07 each) with three 10 second black sections inserted for ads.
Let’s say the first break did occur at 00:06:07 of the actual show and I had 3 minutes of bar, tone etc prior to that. Would my in be listed as 3 minutes and my out be listed as 00:09:07 or do I disregard anything prior to the actual start of the show?
    Thanks for your patience guys,
    Randy
