    Hi,

I’m working on a sequence which requires a layer (in the shape of an arrow) to move around the screen randomly (for which I’ve used the wiggle expression). However, I need the layer to align along the direction that it is travelling. For example, if the layer is travelling left to right, the arrow should be pointing right. Then, when the layer changes direction, the arrow should rotate to match.

Any help would be very appreciated.

    Many thanks.

Forgive me if I am wrong, but I believe the plugin Motion 2 has a feature like this.

you need to select align layer to path. Shift alt O is the shortcut for that.

Sorry, I think that’s actually ctrl alt O. I never remember that one correctly because one of the other is the open Bridge shortcut.
