  • Banding gradient when printing large banner

    Hi there,
I hope this is an easy question – I have been asked to provide a logo on a gradient background to print on a large banner (8m long). The printer has asked for noise on the gradient because it is banding … I\’m not really sure how to do this in illustrator. If I rasterize the gradient the document becomes too large to manage. Any advice on delivering this file without the banding?
    Thannks in advance

If it’s gonna be 8m then you can apply a noise effect to the gradient at 72 dpi.
