Baking Expression Selector?
Hello,
I made a series of Expression Selectors filled with REGEX to do color fills for syntax highlighting. However, they take a long time to render — and I was wondering if there was a special way to bake the colors derived from the expression selectors into the text?
I’ve tried converting everything into keyframes, but the colors always revert back to their defaults.

If you don’t need to change them afterwards, you could run a script and make them keyframes directly.
But if you change the text afterwards, you may get some unpleasant results.If you want the text to also be responsive, you have no alternative. Maybe just optimize your expression. Complicated regex can be computational heavy.

I contacted Zack Lovatt who created a plugin to do just this type of thing, and he mentioned that it’s not possible to bake the expression animator.
