  Badly encoded progressive to interlaced footage

  I have a video which has been encoded to progressive format. It is clearly an interlaced video at source but not de-interlaced – therefore you can see the combing lines.

  Is there a way to encode this back to interlaced? Probably not, but thought I’d ask 🙂 I have tried various encoding methods with no avail.
