Bad TV filter gone weird?
I’ve just tried using the Bad TV filter for the first time since upgrading to Snow Leopard 10.6.3 and Motion 4.0.2, and it’s being weird. If I apply it directly to text, it replicates that text to fill the screen. In fact it replicates it infinitely in all directions; you only get a bounding box around the original piece of text, but if you grab it and drag it around, you never run out of replicated text, no matter which direction you drag it and how far.
To make it work correctly, I have to put the text into its own group, and then apply the filter to the group.
It’s only text that exhibits this problem – there are no issues applying the filter directly to any other objects.
Is this a known issue?

Im also having this problem. Creating a group works but there is still repeat coming from the sides when the effect moves the text horizontally.
Is there something im missing here?
