  Bad Skype Audio/Phone Audio; How to Correct

  Hello All,

  I recently recorded a podcast where our interviewee claimed to not have headphones he could use during our recording. We record over Skype and then directly into ProTools, and then edit in Audition. I know, the system is a bit of a cluster.

  So here is my questions;

  1) If you’re a podcast producer, how do you record people that call into the show or are interviewed remotely? Any apps, tricks and tips that I am missing? There has to be a better system than Skype/Google Hangouts.
  2) Any tips for boosting audio recorded in Skype?
