I have a large project with about 30 r so sequences and everytime I try to open a certain one, FCP crashes and quits immediately. I tried making a copy and opening that, but no luck. If this particular sequence is coorupted, how do I save the info to somewhere else so I can rebuild it with out opening it. Many of the sequences in this project are linking to Motion projects and other files I have imported. Thanks for any suggestions.

Try taking your media offline, then reconnecting it a few at a time… i.e. put it in another folder, and see if the file opens OK. If so the corruption is in that media, not the sequence per se…

When you reconnect then FCP will crash when it finds the media that you’ll need to recapture/rebuild… save often.
