    Hi,

I just built an animation in AFX CS3. 854 x 480 square pixels.

I rendered it lower field first quicktime animation.

Taking the animation into Final Cut, the best I can describe it, the animation looks like it has been divided into ribbons that are out of synch. The image is breaking up horozontally. Not smooth.

    Thank you in advance

i don’t know too much about fcp, but i have worked with avid editors and troubleshoot issues with them…

it kind of sounds like your 480i footage was stretched to 486i, and you fields are all mushed up, but i’m not sure…

so there are a few things we should know… what frame size are you working in in fcp? and how did you import them (many nle’s will have import options where you need to state the frame size or pixel aspect and whatnot), it’s possible that those were out of whack…
