    Hello.

I’ve been trying to render this holiday movie for a couple of weeks now. Ive got 14 project files, rendered as a batch render in two pass quality. 13 of these files come off really nice, as nice as it can get I guess, however, one of them come of really bad. Its almost like a “flicker” in a way. It all gets really pixeled for a second, then good for a second, and so on.

I read somewhere on this forum that this usually occurs when the mbits are put too low, so I’ve tried to higher it way more then source footage, still no change.

The movie is two hours long, and takes me like 40 hours to render two pass, so as you can Imagine im getting quite fed up with all the rendering time without any great outcome.

Anything I might be doing wrong? When rendering one pass, the outcome is better, but overall (all other 13 project files) are not as sharp as when rendering two pass.

Here you can see the difference

Is this destined for DVD or is it for uploading online?

Mainly for computer, and to be shown on a TV through HDMI. Private purpose to be honest.

You don’t need two passes for that!

Maybe not, but I do however tend to see slight better quality with two pass. I tried rendering both, then adding them both into vegas to see if there was any difference in pics, and the two pass renders were more sharper…
