    hi,

    after writing my dvd projecet to dvd, the image quality of menu’s is very bad. All the edges of my buttons are of very bad quality aswell as my text on the buttons.
    i made all my menu’s in photoshop in a 720* 576 image 72dpi

    all the menu’s look well in photoshop and encore but after writing them to dvd …

    could it have something to do with the trancoding, i used the automatic trancoding settings in encore ?

    Is the problem only with the highlights for the buttons, or with the buttons when they’re not highlighted as well? Button highlights on DVD are severely restricted in the number of colors they can display, so jagged edges are typical. For more info, see Daniel Brown’s tutorial:
