  Bad Layoff Problem FCS5.1

  Hi all,

  I’m running FCS5.1 PPC version on my Dual G5 2G, 4G of Ram.

  The SDI output from the send to deck output of my Decklink Pro seems very intermittent and tempermental.
  It seems to dissapear after about half an hours worth of work or a layoff to tape. Rebooting the machine is the only
  way to get it back. Strangely though the output to the SDI monitor is fine.

  I’m also having a problem laying off to tape including the above & will post more info when i’ve tested a few things out.

  I’m running FCS 5.1, latest quicktime, 10.4.6 and latst BM drivers.
  I’ve tried all the connections, resat the board etc etc

  Any help appreciated.
