Bad Clip from Canon 60d
I shot a wedding, and one certain clip comes into premiere with no audio and freezes and crashes premiere everytime it hits a certain point. I tried to nest the clip and export it using “match settings” preference…and the the clip exported, then turned totally red after the same point it was freezing at before. I can watch the original clip JUST FINE in quicktime player…audio and all. This is coming from a Canon 60d 29.97, 1920×1080. Has anyone seen this, and have a solution. Its an important speech from a wedding, and I need to be able to use it. Thanks!

It sounds like the clip is damaged. Since QuickTime player is reading it, how about exporting it from QuickTime just to force it to write a new file?
