  • Bad Audio burning Quicktime files to dvd

I burned three small quicktime files to a dvd created in Encore but when I played the dvd back the audio quality was terrible.

I exported the files from final cut “Using quicktime conversion” with the following settings.

    SIZE – PAL 16:9
    SETTINGS – 24FPS, MPEG-4 VIDEO, DATA RATE(AUTOMATIC)

I always send my projects to compressor now but I was still learning about compression formats etc back
when these files were created. Unfortunatly I also deleted the final cut project files since then so these quicktime movies are all that remains. The quicktime movies themselves playback fine on my mac and the audio is clear and I remember in the past I burned the same files to dvd using final cut and got clear audio its only after using Encore that I experienced the audio problem.

    Advice is greatly appreciated
    Thank you
