Backwards Compatible?
Edited content created in 6.0 is not being read by another station using Vers. 5.0 – is 6.0 not backwards compatible?

Nope. You have to export an XML, version 3. Highlight ALL the contents of your Browser, go FILE>EXPORT>XML. Choose Version 3. Then in FCP 5, FILE>IMPORT>XML.

No, FCP is not backwards compatible period. Use XML export to share with an older version.
