backup hell!
I went to back up a documentary on a second external drive and dragged the
project and all media into the drive. Now in the master drive, the timeline
says everything is offline. What happened and is there any way to fix this without having to reconnect media clip by clip. Thanx -

You should have followed protocols as described in the manual for crating copies of projects. It’s quite clear. It doesn’t work, but it’s clearly explained.
You must now relink your media. Disconnect your external drive and open the manual to relink media. It’s not difficult and most of it is automatic.

Most women have an aversion to instruction manuals…it’s written in confusing tech speak…But out of desperation, I will open the book and hopefully GET IT! And FIX IT!
