  Backlight on JVC GY-HM650U

  We’ve had this camera for a few months now and it’s great for our commercial productions. Yesterday was the first time I needed a quick backlight adjustment and turns out I must not have been in that situation with this camera yet as I reached for the button on our old P2 which of course isn’t on the JVC!

  Been searching the manual, the camera, and the many settings and the closest thing I’ve found to a backlight adjustment for shooting is the Wide Dynamic Range. I found the LCD screen backlight but it’s not the monitor screen I’m trying to adjust but the backlight when shooting when the background is brighter than the subject. Naturally, I normally try to avoid this situation and usually do but once in awhile it can’t be helped. I did fix my footage in Preimere any way but still, isn’t there a backlight function on the JVC GY-HM650u??
