    Hi everyone,

we need to save space on our drives at work. So the first thing that comes to mind is to reduce the amount of source material of which only a fraction is ever used.

I know that in Final Cut you can back up all the media data that was referenced in your project. Then you delete the source material and you’re done.

Is there an equivalent in Vegas? I can’t find it in the menu and the manual doesn’t turn up any results for backup.

    Thanks,
    Stefan

[Stefan Schramm] “Is there an equivalent in Vegas”

Hi Stefan. Yes. Export Project. This has given me cuts and media used in Project. NOTHING more! Be warned. Have a go with a Test.veg first see if it fits your purposes.
