Hey – I’ve got some workflow issues with Premier CS3 and the Project Manager. If I want to back up a project, Premier collects all my assets and lumps them in to one folder either copied or trimmed. Ok, so what happens when I back up that folder to LTO-4 or Bluray, delete the assets and want to restore the project later on to make changes?

Since all the assets are now lumped together in one folder how will the project restore? Does Premier know where the original folders and directories are on my drives? Will everything just be lumped back onto the RAID or will graphics and audio and video be where they were originally?

I’m trying to get my head wrapped around the process before I go archiving and purging projects. I need some direction with Project Manager or if I need to say clear and approach the archiving process differently.

    Thanks!

    ~Mike~
