    Hi,

I’m just finishing a 13 part series and am about to archive, so am just wanting to make sure I do everything correctly.

The series has the studio record captured via digibeta to prores, inserts shot on EX1 HDCam, and have motion projects and a few subcomps (of which I save the source material on another video layer).

Are there problems with motion projects and the subcomps when using the Media Manager? I have spoken with the producer, who says the original source material would not be used again, but would be good to recall the cut for future series – so hence I want to be careful, especially with the XDCam material.

The series once aired, will be backed up to Exabyte tape, then I can upgrade the suite to Snow Leopard, and reconfigure the raid of which we have added another drive. I’m going to MM to this drive in the interim, so I can unmount the raid to test if MM has worked properly.

    Thanks,
    Jon.
