Hey I could really use some help, I’m working in vegas pro 8 and currently editing scene three of a short video. This is a scene that takes place at a small party. My problem is that I want to make my audio seem like it is coming from a radio and was wondering what the best way of doing that would be and what sort of effects would work best. The camera is moving so i know i have to do some panning with the audio and adjust the volume accordingly but could anyone through out some ideas on how to make this sound more like audio shot on scene?

put a little reverb on it. the sony express reverb (or whatever sony fx your copy of vegas has) has a “small night club” preset. play with the room size and liveliness sliders. when it sounds ok, dial the reverb down to 20-25%. ‘course, if you have perfect space or lexicon, you’ll have more choices.
