  • Background for really bad green screen

    Hello,

I’ve been given some terrible green screen footage to work with. The lighting is awful and means I can’t key out all the green – there’s a lot of green reflection on the guys face and shirt. Great!

I’ve done as much as I can using Keylight, but I’m not sure what else I can do to improve things.

There is no background for the guy to go on, they just wanted the background to be black. However it really doesn’t look great.

Does anyone have any ideas how I could create a good background for the guy to sit on, that would make the green on his face and shirt less obvious?

I’m really struggling, so any ideas would be hugely appreciated!!

    Thanks so much,
    Zoë

This thread from a couple of weeks ago might help.

Not going to be a great answer to this one. I would suggest using a background with green in it.

Also, make Keylight’s job so much easier when you have poorly shot footage by using this technique…
