    Hi folks,

We were given a conference room to film a speaker in yesterday and hit on the great idea of using the pulldown projector screen to fake up a white infinity background.

As you can see from the accompanying picture, our light didn’t quite cover the entirety of the screen and we have some vignetting going on, most noticeably in the bottom left corner.

Is there an easy way Premiere Pro can get rid of this via a luma or highlight adjustment, bearing in mind I don’t want to start blowing out the highlights on the speaker?

I could of course put a colour matte over half the screen, but on occasion his arm crosses over the vignetted area and I don’t want to have to start rotoscoping!

    Thanks in advance!

Mask out the guy loosely with a small feather.
    Put white back ground underneath.
AE would make it easy for you.

Thanks Chris, I was hoping to do it without masks, but I guess that’s wishful thinking!

I’ve had a good result using a power mask in Magic Bullet’s Colorista over the offending bits… A bit of rotoscoping may be in order if his arm crosses over but no biggie I guess!
