Back to Tape???
Posted by Michael Brodner on July 8, 2008 at 10:43 pmIs there a way to take a sequence from Final Cut Pro and record it back onto a dv tape?

July 8, 2008 at 11:14 pmYes. Hook up the camera…turn it on. Launch FCP. Make sure that your DV Easy Setup is chosen so that you are sending out a DV signal…then make sure that VIEW>EXTERNAL>ALL FRAMES is on. Then either PRINT TO VIDEO or press record on the camera and play on the timeline.
Manual has pretty in depth instructions for this.

What does it say for VIEW>VIDEO PLAYBACK? It should be showing DV/NTSC.
