B4 Eng Lens Autofocus with AF100
I am using Fujinon A19x8.7 with 2x and a 12 Pin Hirose B4 Y-Cable with s/s and Anton Bauer power plug. Everything seems to work except the Auto Focus . . . Do I lose Auto focus with this type of setup . . . or is there another concern I should consider ? ?

Sorry, Henry, all you get with these external battery setups is the servo zoom. There is no communication between the lens and the camera, so the autofocus function will not work.
That said, the lens is probably parfocal, so (for static shots) you can use the old cameraman’s trick of zooming all the way in, nailing your focus, then zooming out for your shot and not worrying about it.

Thanks for the reply, I guest its safe to say, the lost of auto focus is true with any lens except the OEM lens.
