  axis controller issue

  So I have no idea what i did or what button I might have pushed but when I try to move an object in the viewport now, even if the move button is on, it just rotates; and not with the bands! I mean it displays the move tool but rotates and not along the band axis, just rotates however i move the mouse. How do I stop this?
