    Hey all,
Is anyone else having a terrible time with rotation axes?

There used to be an option to always create new objects in view center. If you turned it off, it would center your new nurb, spline, what have you at 0,0,0.

I can’t find that option and since my editor camera is always in a different place and never aligned with my construction plane, new objects appear with the axis of rotation way off in left field.

Spline wrapping is impossible for me now and I can change the center axis a dozen times and click on an object again and it’s a mess. Any suggestions? Am I doing some thing wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The option is in Preferences>Document.

I have, on more than one occasion, gone through every option in the preferences and I can’t believe I missed it. I was just about to give up. Thanks a lot.

There’s a lot of stuff in there. I’ve tried to think of some rationale for the distinction between common preferences and document preferences … to no avail.
