An artist just handed me a file of QTs encoded from an old Avid using AVR 77 Codec and he asked me if I could open them. Anyone know of a place to acquire that old codec or an alternative way to opem them.
    It’s a long shot but I thought I’d ask.
    Thanks

You should be able to download codecs from the Avid site (search ‘download avid codec’). I’m pretty sure everything you need is in there…

I thought for sure all Avid’s could at least read ABVB (ie AVR) resolutions. You just can’t create it.

So, if you have Avid can’t you just import it?
