I want things to move linearly! How can I prevent them curving? Also, I continue to have a devil of a time figuring out how to change the duration of an existing project.

You can change the interpolation by right-clicking the keyframes in the Canvas or you can do it in the Keyframe Editor.

To change the project duration, select the project layer in the Layers List, go to the Inspector and change the Duration field.

Many thanks, Mark. Solved the interpolation problem, but I see only my various Groups and their contents in the Layers window. No sign of a project lyaer.

I’m assuming you are using Motion 5 but sounds like you are not. Maybe it’s time?

Found the Project layer, and adjusted the duration. Many thanks.

Clicking on the stopwatch in the dashboard also switches from timecode to project length, where you can also enter a new value i.e. project duration.
