AVOID QT7??

Since I have QTpro, if I go to QT7, does it already run pro or do I need to input the serial number? Or does that automatic thing happen with FCP5 and Tiger?

vjctech user did upgrade to QT7 and he has many problems to open Final Cut Pro 4.5. (Check a Post earlier today for Final Cut & Quicktime 7). He tried to reinstall everything and his problem isn’t resolved yet.

Yep, absolute truth. Do NOT run QT 7 with FCP 4.5. In fact, does QT 7 work with CineWave?

QT7, OS 10.3.9 and FCP 4.5 are not a good combination. If you need to revert QT I have saved the file.

Yes Cinewave 4.7 works with FCP 5, Quicktime 7.03 and all the latest software updates. I still have it on my Dual G4 1Ghtz machine!

Is the upgrade OS 10.3.7 to Tiger w/ fcphd4.5 recommended for G4 dual 1.25?

and just to be clear, keep QT 6.5.2 (assuming this is optimum for fcp 4.5)?
