avoid green spill from grass
Hi there,
I have recently shot an interview in a field with the subject sat fairly close to the grass. As I often am, I was travelling fairly light. I had an assistant holding either a bounce when it was cloudy or diffusion when there was bright sun and that’s it. the only light I currently have doesn’t do much in bright sunlight.
What would my options be for blocking this green spill on to the skin tones? It was only in the bright sunny conditions really, when the sun was obviously reflecting the grass on to his skin. My thoughts so far are:
-Black material on the grass immediately around him
-Increasing the light on his skin with a thinner diff/reflecting more light back on to him
-bringing a more powerful light to work as a fill light so using no diff…see example image- Bright sun, diffusion casting shade on subject and no other influence
