AvidXpressDV_no video resource?
I’m running Avid Xpress DV v4.6 on my Mac Pro (os v.10.5.5; 2 x3 Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon with 2 GB RAM). For whatever reason, clips won’t playback in either source or record window. The audio does playback, but the picture in either window only shows the frame it’s stopped on.
Why am I not being able to playback and see it? -

Your OS is way, way wrong. You should be running somewhere around OS 10.3.4 or 10.3.4.
I’m guessing you have Quicktime 7.5.5 (or whatever the latest is)? You should be running 6.5.1.
And how did you even get Xpress DV installed on an Intel Mac? XpressDV was killed off before Intel Macs were even made. You really need to find an older system (G4 or G5) or upgrade your software.
