avid/toshiba question
hey all, i just bought a new laptop (toshiba a105-s4014) which meets the avid specs. i installed avid without any problems and then restarted the computer. i then loaded avid and everything went fine, it made it all the way through the splash screen, but then instead of the project selection window all i got was a black screen that completely froze the computer. has this happened to anyone else, and if so, how did you fix it?

You wrote that the Tosh notebook meets the Avid spec. Where are you getting that information from? I don’t know if a single Tosh notebook on the Avid approved hardware list.
What are the specs on that notebook?
