Avide Symphony & Composer training books?
I am an experienced Media 100/After Effects user who will soon be transitioning to Avid Symphony/Composer. Does anyone have a recommendation for effective training materials (books,DVDs, whatever!) I can absorb before I sit down at a station try to learn it?

Personally, I like the Avid Training DVD’s. There’s also one of the best books available called the Avid editing handbook by Steve Bayes. IMHO, it is hands down the best book out there. You can get it on Amazon (it used to be you could go there through a link on the front page of the COW – you get your book and support the community).
