Jim,

Try it again using Sorensen. Create a new filter and call it “Remove Auto Deinterlacing.” In that filter, (yes, you guessed it) uncheck the “deinterlace” field.

Render yourself a short clip where these problems occur and tell us if that fixes what ails ya.

FYI –

We did that and I just heard from my editor that the resulting file was, to quote my favorite commercial, “BRILLIANT”.
