Avid Xpress Top & Tail Shorcuts
Is it possible that Avid Xpress Pro 4.5 doesn’t show me in the COMMAND PALETTE the shortcuts for TOP and TAIL command??? Why this Avid hasn’t got this shorcuts in the command palette (despite the Users Guide show it)??? Can I do something to active this shorcut in my keyboard??

Top and Tail editing isn’t in Xpress Pro as of the current release 5.2.2. It’s never been in previous versions, either, though it existed in the now-defunct Xpress Meridien product. This is one of those features that is now only available in Media Composer Adrenaline and Symphony.
Again, we get back to the heated debate of how Avid should give us all the interface features of MCA, but that’s been beat to death. Scroll down a few postings under this one and you’ll see another thread about this that’s been going for some time…

Top and Tail is not exactly an advanced feature for editors!?
Sorry, I’m thinking of migrating from Discreet Edit* and this might change my mind!
