On launching the software an Avid error is shown – Could not identify FireBOB hardware.

    What the hell is this?

I have installed a new Firewire card (32bit slot 2 PCI) should i have a 64 bit in slot 3? (HP xw8000 workstation)

    Kind regards

Does you new Firewire card have a Texas Instruments chipset? If not, Avid probably can’t deal with it.

    Thanks for that.

I have changed the card, and about to install the latest version of the software – i think the SDI mojo is only supported after 5.5.

    All the best
