Avid xpress dv 3.5
I have an old Xpress dv 3.5, my problem is that the QT movies that I make do not open in new computers, probably because it is an old QT version, is there a way to transform these old QT files into new versions that can be open in today´s computers?

Your problem lies elsewhere, not in the QT version.
If you export ‘same as source’, your QT’s won’t play on other machines cause that machine does not have the proper codec installed.
So render out to another codec, either from Avid, or in another dedicated transcoding application.
