I’m having a problem with the audio in Avid: If a import just the video into Avid I can do my edition. But if I import the audio there’s a problem, like a bug in Avid, The Video don’t play anymore and that is no sound at all. The audio imput appears in the audio mixer, I can also ajust the volume, but I can’t hear. I have a audiophile 2496 m-audio card that works very well with my computer. It works with media player, Cubase, Quick time, but I was wondering with it works with Avid. Maybe some configuration in Avid, some setting. But I also went to audioproject settings – hardware, and I coudn’t change the setting, the card was DirectSound Audio& 1394 audio and the opition wasn’t able to be changed. I really don’t know what it is. I also know that the slot for m-audio is slot 1 and the slot setted in Avid is slot 0, but the opition was enable to be changed as well.

    Thank you very much,

    Bernardo
