Avid Upgrades and the Mac OS
I am currently running MC 8.4.2, both home and work systems.
Windows 7 Pro PC at work, iMac OSX 10.9.5 at home.I am looking at doing a simultaneous MC upgrade.
Any thoughts on recent versions and various bugs, etc.?I’ll need to upgrade Mac OS too, as various filters
require a more recent flavor of Mac.So any strong feelings about recent versions of OSX?
I have been pretty happy with 10.9.5,
but time marches on and I want to ensure
MC plays well with any new install of OSX.Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I run 8.5.3 on my laptop…that runs OS 10.9.5. Solidly. And then I share this license with my MacPro, running 10.10.5 and have no issues. We are running 10.10.5 at work, and MC 8.6.0, and no issues. But 10.9.5 is pretty good for me, The tower is on 10.10.5 for some software compatibility, and my laptop held back to 10.9.5 for the same reason, older software to function.
