March 21, 2013 at 2:18 amAnyone who would know would be under NDA and couldn’t talk about it .
If I were in a position to wait, I would.
If you need to edit now, download the trial. It’s good for thirty days, fully functional.

March 21, 2013 at 3:21 amIt’ll be a year before they get 7.0 stable anyways so it’s not like it’s going to be ready to go even if it is announced at NAB.

March 21, 2013 at 11:39 amWith NAB just 3 weeks away, I would just wait and see. if they announce and demo the next version, you can decide whether the feature set is something you need and have a better idea of when it will be released.

March 22, 2013 at 1:05 amI believe that upgrades should be motivated by features or needs. 5.5 was excellent software, 6.0 was great upgrade and completely worth it for the 64-bit capabilities. 6.5 is a great product, but unless you need better AMA workflows there isn’t a ton of motivation to make the jump in my opinion.
