Avid to Xdcam backup
Avid on PC
I want to back up some clips or sequences to xdcam disc, but I want to maintain the clip or sequence names.Is this possible?, Would appreciate any help on this

The original clips can be backed up in the CLIP folder and the Avid library clips and other non-XDCAM files (the op-atom files from Avid Media Files/MXF/#) can be backed up in the User Data folder. if what you need is just a matter of backing up XDCAM file with unique file names, set Free Naming on the device to ON. if you are using the U1/U2 drive this setting is in the drive utility application. On the decks and cameras it’s in the operational menu.
