    Hi guys,

    Just found a solution to export from Avid using AAF to Premiere when your sequence contains AMA clips without having to transcode anything. The issue being that when Premiere opens the AAF, it shows the audio but no video.
    As I’ve seen lots of posts on different forums about this specific issue, I thought I’ll post it here:

    Here’s the solution:
    In Avid –> Export to AAF (Link to media).
    In After Effects –> Pro import your AAF.
    In After Effects –> Dynamic Link – Create new Premiere Sequence.
    In After Effects –> In your composition made from the AAF sequence, select all layers and Copy.
    In Premiere –> Paste!

    There you go, your sequence in Premiere can be edited as if it was created in Premiere.
