Avid to Final Cut Pro
Hey I am new to FCP, but not new to the editing world. I am making the transition from Avid to FCP and I bought that Apple series book on switching over but I am still not getting some of the answers I want and was wondering if you guys / gals could help me out.
So the first thing is I need to know how to digitize tapes in at offline RT NTSC and DV25 to the Digi Folders on media1?

OK…can you give us a bit more information first? What format are you capturing from? How are you connected to the computer? Capture card involved here?
Setting up a media drive is easy. Go into the SYSTEM PREFS and the first window you see is how you set your Capture Scratch (media drive). Click on SET and then navigate to your drive.
