Avid to After Effects to Avid
Hi,
I’m having problems with losing quality when importing edited footage from After Effects back into Avid.
I’ve tried using various settings but cannot even on uncompressed get the quality to look like it is the same quality as the footage we have in Avid. I exported the footage from Avid to After Effects without a problem.
The Avid settings are on PAL DV 20 420.

I do this all the time, as its my normal workflow. Export clips out of Avid as QT references, same as source. Render out of AE with Avid Meridian 1:1 codec, import into Avid 1:1.
