Avid to After effects project export problem
Hello
I need to export an Avid timeline to AE CC. I am working on ISIS (both stations), my material is IMX30 MXF SD PAL.
I am trying to do it by export as AAF (link to media), but when i open the AAF with pro import (default settings) i get a weird looking image ( i attach a screenshot
screenshot1.jpg ) .If i do a quick time reference export from Avid the image is o.k. , but as i said – i need to see the timeline.
Thanks for any help, i am kind of stuck.

Could it be a codec-version-mismatch? I had similar problems with DNXHD-mov’s, when the avid-software was updated. Apparently avid uses different codecs internally than the ones, for example, quicktime uses.

I tried few quicktime versions (7.6.9, 7.7.3, 7.74), installed Avid Codecs (PE&LE). tried from another version of Avid newscutter (9.5.3.6) , no luck 🙁
This workflow works for me only on media format that is DnxHD or DV25. But that’s no good for me.
