  AVID stereo3D editing

  All,
  I went onto learn.avid.com and went through all their free stereo3D AVID 6.0 video tutorials, good stuff but it was all about editing exisiting 3D camera footage. I am looking for a tutorial on taking 3d footage and adding an image that would float in the screen or a title that would float in and out of screen in 3d stereo. Is this something AVID handles using AVID FX? Or am I to create this footage in Maya or Afeter FX and export as s3d clips into AVID?
