I would like to utilize my Avid external SCSI drives from some FCP projects. I have several Ultra 160 and 320 drives. My hardware is a Dual Core Quad MacPro Intel PCIe. Are there any cards out there that will go into my system, or am I “SOL”

I’m sure ATTO makes SCSI cards that would work… you’ll need to reformat the drives to be Mac compatible, but a disk drive is a disk drive…

Would the old scsi drives work as well as the new drives inside the MacPro? The Atto card is about 400 dollars. For that money would it be best to just get a 500 gig external drive. I am wondering because I have a Avid raid I have been thinking of using with FCP also.
