AVID says hard drive full when it isn’t
Never come across this before.
When exporting a 3 minute DV sequence to an external media drive with 40g of free space, the AVID is telling me the hard drive is full. My root drive is very full but I’ve made sure that the AVID temp folder is also on the external drive. It makes it about 80% through the export before giving me the error. The hardware tab in the main bin shows that AVID is recogninsing I have the 40g space on the drive.
What asre your suggestions? Corrupt OMF’s? I’m about to trash the database to see if that helps in any way – clutching at straws.

Perhaps it does not like making a file over 2 gig in size and a 3 min video at 1:1 might be a bit over that.
